Texas Associates: No CE Requirement
If you're a Texas LPC Associate or LMFT Associate, you don't have a CE requirement.
The Texas CE rules set hours for an LPC (22 TAC §681.140) and an LMFT (22 TAC §801.261). Your associate license expires 60 months after it's issued, and if you haven't finished your supervised hours by then, you reapply (22 TAC §681.91(g)–(h), §801.202(a)–(b)).
If you're working toward an LCSW, you'll hold an LMSW, which is a full license with its own 30 hour CE requirement (22 TAC §781.501). This page doesn't cover it.
