Supervision & Consultation
A business-building tool for new clinicians, and a new income stream for practices that already exist.
Your profile is yours.
You write it, you set your rate, and you decide who you work with. Share your link anywhere: LinkedIn, email signature, business cards, your state association or professional group, or your own website if you have one.
Market it your way.
We show you, step by step, how therapists get found today. Use what fits and skip the rest.
All remote.
Supervise and consult by video. In California, with a current California license and an associate registered with the California board, you can supervise fully by video, and clients need to be in California. In other states, your state board sets the rules for supervising by video and where clients need to be, so check yours. You can consult with a licensed colleague in any state; keep client details de-identified.
Where do you want to start?
Two or three taps and you’ll see your next steps.
Are you licensed or an associate?
Early access: create your profile.
We’ll email you when matching opens.
Every early-access profile gets its own colleague profile page. If you want, we also build a client practice page from it that you can edit. If you’ve only worked with managed care and don’t have a web page yet, this gives you one.
Clients book with you directly on your own scheduler. We never collect client information.
Open to licensed clinicians in all 50 states. Supervisors are responsible for meeting their own state board’s requirements.
State pages: California supervisor training, California supervisor renewal CE, Texas supervisor CE, Oregon supervisor CE, Washington CE requirements, Texas CE requirements, Oregon CE requirements.
Questions
- How do I start a private practice as a therapist?
- Start with the steps at the top of this page. Choose licensed and you get a checklist that covers fees, a business license, an NPI, HIPAA setup and a ledger. New to cash pay? Our course Get Paid What You're Worth walks you through setting it up legally and ethically.
- How do associates find supervision and a practice to work with?
- Associate rules are set by each state board, so check yours first. In California (AMFT, APCC, ACSW), Texas, Washington and Oregon, associates practice under supervision before full licensure. You can plan ahead now: create a free early-access profile and we'll email you when matching with a licensed practice owner in your state opens.
- How much should I charge for clinical supervision, and how do I set rates?
- Your profile is free to set up. You set your own rate, and it's yours less normal card processing. The person who books pays a $5 booking fee on top of your rate. If you're new to cash pay, Get Paid What You're Worth walks you through setting it up legally and ethically.
- How do I find a clinical supervisor in California, Texas, Washington or Oregon?
- Licensed clinicians in any state create a supervision and peer consultation profile, free to set up, where peers can find them and sign up for supervision. Supervisors are responsible for meeting their own state board's requirements.
- What supervisor CE do California, Texas and Oregon supervisors need?
- California supervisors take Supervision: California Initial Supervisor Training to start and California Supervisor Continuing Professional Development each renewal. Texas LPC-S, LMFT-S and LCSW-S supervisors take Supervision: Texas 6-Hour Requirement to Continue Supervising (LPC-S, LMFT-S, LCSW-S) each renewal. Oregon LPC and LMFT supervisors can take Supervision CE for Oregon LPC and LMFT Supervisors. Then create your supervision and peer consultation profile so peers can find you.
- Where can therapists find peer consultation?
- Each clinician's supervision and peer consultation profile shows what they offer, and licensed colleagues can sign up for consultation there. Peer consultation doesn't follow the same rules as supervision. Keep client details de-identified.
- Are supervision and peer consultation open in every state?
- Yes. Supervision and peer consultation are open to licensed clinicians in all 50 states and DC. Supervisors are responsible for meeting their own state board's requirements.
- Where can therapists get a free website or dedicated clinical profile?
- It's free to set up. You get a supervision and peer consultation profile where peers can find you and sign up for supervision or consultation, plus a separate private practice landing page that is only for your therapy clients. If you've only worked with managed care and don't have a web page yet, this gives you one.
